Your Life After Trauma

Michele-RosenthalIn 1981, as a thirteen-year-old child, Michele Rosenthal was given a routine antibiotic for a routine infection and suffered anything but a routine reaction. An undiscovered allergy to the medication turned her into a full-body burn victim almost overnight. By the time Michele was released from the hospital she had lost 100% of her epidermis, or the top layer of her skin. And as she says in her book: Even more importantly, she had completely lost herself.

Michele struggled with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) for over 25 years before reaching a full recovery. Today, she is 100% PTSD free and is now a professional coach who specializes in helping trauma victims rebuild their lives.

Michele is the author of two books Your Life After Trauma: Powerful Practices to Reclaim Your Identity and Before the World Intruded: Conquering the Past and Creating the Future, selected as a finalist for the Books For A Better Life Award, Next Generation Indie Book Award, and the International Book Award. A faculty member of the Clinical Development Institute for Timberline Knolls Residential Treatment Center.

A PTSD healing devotee, Michele is a dynamic coach who helps survivors recover, reconstruct and reconnect with their untraumatized selves. As a mental health advocate, public speaker, blogger, writer, workshop/seminar leader and Licensed Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Michele uses her personal experience, education, professional training and research to help others further their trauma and PTSD recovery. She practices on the staff of Summit Wellness Centers in Palm Beach Gardens, FL.
